Screw manufacture from bicycle to motorbike, and then motorcar, keeping on upgrading and developing.
When in 1984, Weiye was still a small factory, mainly producing screws used for bicycles. Through years'development, Weiye adjusted its development direction in the 1990's which promoted the screw's added value and then it began to produce high-range screws and accessories for motorbike. Up to now, the main customers of Weiye are manufacturers of motorbike and motorcar.
Director Mr. Ho said proudly that, "We provide a dragon service for our customers from raw materials to finished products packaging. The products are finished in the company through the whole process, from the raw material inspection, restructuring and mould making to finished products testing warehoused. We take strict batch management and each items'producing process has its traceability."

"We have quite advanced equipments. That is what I'm proud of and also what Weiye's advantage!" Director Ho said confidently. "We still have our heat treatment equipments and plating factory."
There are more than 4 inspections during the whole production process!
Why should they do so many inspections? Director Mr. Ho replied, "Gain the initiative by striking the first blow". Weiye's customers are large producers, their checking equipments are very advanced, even more advanced than some provincial checking centres' equipments. Weiye knows that it's better for themselves to find problems than let their customers find problems and then improve their quality.
Moreover, Werye takes a form of card-form management during the whole production process. Card-form, just as the name implies, is that each production flow must strictly follow the regulations, and also have to do records and recheck for every production flow. Strict management, enough inspection, leading to the long-term cooperation between Weiye and SUZUKI.

The story of Weiye and SUZUKI, patience promotes cooperation
The present biggest customer of Weiye is SUZUKI. As the biggest motorbike manufacturer in the world, SUZUKI'daily production reaches up to 10,000 sets, so it has very high request for motorbike accessories. No wonder director Ho said: "It's a process to establish our brand to cooperate with SUZUKI."
Director Ho wasn't afraid to say that he didn't dare to cooperate with SUZUKI before. He didn't reluctant to say about their difficulties and deficiencies before, "We began to cooperate with SUZUKI in 2000 and supplied motorbike accessory screws. But we couldn't dare to cooperate with them anymore from the time being. Their demand is too high and the quality of Weiye's products couldn't meet their demands. We couldn't reach their requirements no matter plating or the mechanical properties." So Weiye bowed out of their cooperation with SUZUKI.
Since Weiye has deficiencies, it needs to be improved. Director Ho had been improving the whole equipments level during these several years, various kinds of advanced equipments have been entered into Weiye's workshop. Director Ho also set up a plating factory which upgrading two or three classes of Weiye's products.
To start again at where failed before. Weiye contacted SUZUKI actively and asked for a opportunity to supply accessories for it. They cooperated again. Weiye came through the inspections and checks all the way in nine months, from the sample checking to small patch producing and then to the normal delivery, they finally became the specified accessory supplier of SUZUKI. On refering to these nine months, director Ho signed with emotion, "Most of the factories didn't have the patience to endure those nine-month check. But we accepted that, that's our phased success."
SUZUKI publicizes the quality information of every suppliers, what their rate of quality is and how many their delivery quantity is etc. SUZUKI would give a pure golden medal as a prize to one of those many suppliers. That heavy golden medal stands for the best annual quality enterprise. Director sais firmly that their goal is to win that golden medal.

Screws win for their features, which bring up great achievements
On mentioning that if Weiye has any plans to develop their career overseas, director Ho said that most factories using low prices as their competition means in this cut-throat competition for export industry. Facing the whole industry, including foreign fastener industry, China's fasteners don't have much competition advantage; With respect to domestic fastener industry, fastener factories of Guangdong district have less advantages in raw material logistics cost. If just competing by prices, Guangdong district is doomed not to be the leader of the whole nation.
"Therefore, we have to make our own features, manufacturing featured screws, especially some high grade difficult 'abnormal conditions', which others don't dare to do or have difficulties to do."
Nowadays, Weiye has been an enterprise with considerable scale in south China, but director Ho isn't satisfied with it, he said that Weiye has its exact orientation, that is to be the most featured fastener manufacturer in south China.
Weiye has its own advantage: Advanced equipments, completed production process, perfect checking system, strong cooperator, specialized developing direction...etc.
