Reporter: Have you fully understand the EU antidumping complaint against Chinese fasteners?
Mr. Wang: Yes. We have already prepared to defend the case. The complaint covers a wide field; almost all the export products are involved. As far as I know, about 10 companies in Ningbo are going to defend the complaint, including Donggang and Jinding.
Reporter: Does the complaint impact your company? What are you going to do?
Mr. Wang: About 80% of our products export to Europe, so the case has great impact on us. Now we are going to defend the case alone, because it accords with our interests. We want to get the lowest tariff, not the average.
We have 60% chance to win the case, because our export price is relatively high and gets the advantages in costings.
Reporter: Do you learn something about antidumping in detail?
Mr. Wang: Yes, we have. As a manager, I started to learn all the policies concerning antidumping complaint with the aim to well know our opponents and ourselves.
Reporter: Have you ever met similar investigations before? What measures have you taken?
Mr. Wang: This is the first time. We have already employed a lawyer team and prepared for the case quite well.
Reporter: It is no doubt that domestic fastener companies will be involved in various antidumping cases in future. What's your suggestion to avoid such antidumping actions?
Mr. Wang: At present, the frequent antidumping complaints filed by foreign countries are caused by the vicious price competition. The domestic industry has required limiting the price for several years, but the requirement is impeded due to lack of government control.
If we lose the case, our fastener products will enter into the European market with great difficulties, the tariff will raise, too. If we win the case, it is certainly good news. It will make the domestic industry more rational.
