Located in Zhejiang, Haiyan- China fasteners town, CIFC is invested 1.1billion Yuan by Jiangsu Ganglong Group, expert in professional market development operation. Covering an area of 335 Mu of land (which is roughly about 23 hectares) and 500,000 m2of floor space, CIFC has more than 2000 stores which can accommodate 2000 fastener enterprises, upstream and downstream fastener enterprises. The layout includes four main sections: product display, logistics & distribution, international expo and purchasing center and business center. It will be the biggest global fastener center with fullest range of fastener products, lowest cost and most convenient logistics and distribution service.
 
More than 700 fastener enterprises including 70 leading ones has stepped into CIFC 1st phase. As the 2nd phase starts, the number of enterprises in CIFC will increase to more than 1000.How can CIFC achieve such great success? Taking this question, we have the honor to interview general manager of CIFC.
 
Mr. Cai Kaixiang impresses people with his sagacity, calmness and composure. When asked why he is so enterprising to invest 1.1billion Yuan to initiate CIFC program, he answered, “The competitive edge of CIFC is rather strong”.
 
Later, he expounded the competitive edge of CIFC: China is a major fastener manufacturing country. However, most of the fastener manufacturers in China cannot obtain the information of market needs immediately, which is difficult for these enterprises to meet the demand of global competition due to the limitation of a single trading model “ manufacturing relies on order, and order depends on exhibition”. CIFC serves as a platform of Chinese fastener industry. CIFC relies on “Haiyan-Ningbo”, a large fastener manufacturing area, bases on Jiang, Zhe and Hu, a core zone of the production and consumption of fastener, covers the producing and consuming zone of fastener such as Southern China, Northern China and the central and middle regions of China, and attracts enterprises and purchasers in the major production and consumption zone of Northern America, Europe and Southeast  Asia to build an all around industry service base with functions such as sales and marketing, exhibiting and information exchanging. Mr. Cai said, “I think the biggest competitive edge of CIFC is the necessity, scarcity and professional value of this program.”
 
Fastener is an industry with big scale of production and consumption. On May 1st , 2008, the longest bridge crossing seaHangzhou Bay bridge was formally opened for traffic. After that, it takes only one hour from Haiyan to the four big cities of Shanghai, Hangzhou, Suzhou and Ningbo. Yangtze Delta region has robust demand for fasteners, while CIFC locates in Haiyan, Zhejiang, the center of the high demanding zone. After the market is opened, it will be the first place for the four great industrial cities to purchase fastener products.
 
Haiyuan owns a coastline of 53 kilometers, a comprehensive dock with annual handling volume of 1200,000 tons and national fist-class port such as Zhapu port. All of theses advantages make the basis for the prosperity of the export of fastener industry in Haiyan.
 
Hearing that, we realize that businessmen from Wenzhou leave their footprints across the globe, not only because they work hard and dare to be the first, but also because they possess keen observation and meticulous thinking and analyzing ability.
 
We all know that CIFC is only one program of Jiangsu Ganglong (Group) Company. The success of one program is nothing, but in the past ten years, Guanglong Group has developed and operated several markets and each market is very robust, which proves the uniqueness of its operation.
 
“The success is attributed to the advanced management philosophy and the attitude to operate the market by heart. “Just as his name “Kan”, Mr. Cai talked with ease and confidence. He said that we always regard ourselves as professional market operational expertise. We focus on the operation of market itself rather than the mere development of real estate. Until today, the markets developed by our group are managed and operated well by our own team.
 
We asked Mr. Cai, “how to keep the market robust?” “The attitude of the developer is very important to the success of a market.” He treats the CIFC program in a gentle and steady attitude. He will attract investment and publicize by heart after removing the worries of the merchants.
 
“The year 2008 is very important to CIFC. In 2008”, Mr. Cai expressed, CIFC will initiate the first-stage market and construct the second-stage market. Besides, it will put a large amount of advertisement fees to publicize intensively in CCTV and in other producing and purchasing places of fastener to enhance the image and attractiveness of the program. It will continue to implement the investment promotion policy, which is “2 years of free rent, preferential policy and serving the enterprises”, to strengthen the global publication to attract investment. It will continue to strengthen the promotion aiming at Europe, North America, Middle East and other countries, attracting more and more foreign purchasing enterprises to enter China market and set headquarter in China. CIFC is aiming to create the largest fastener purchasing center in the world.
 
There are four points to judge whether the market is robust or not:: first, whether the market need it or not; second whether the government support it or not; third, whether the plan is scientific or not; fourth, whether it is managed by heart or not.” Mr. Cai share his experience with us.
