From Feb 26 to Feb 39, 2008, ChinaFastener.com had been an exhibitor in the Ningbo (5th) International Fastener, Spring and Equipment Fair, which is a start of our fastener trip in 2008. In Ningbo, we see one of the most famous and largest fastener fair.
Ningbo is located in the middle of the China mainland coastline. It lies in the South of Changjiang River delta and is the adjacent city of Shanghai, Hangzhou and Wenzhou. The fastener industry of Ningbo began its mass production from 1950S. The present 1000 enterprises grew from those state-owned collective plants with sales volume of only several hundred thousand yuan such as Ningbo Standard Parts Plant and Ningbo Screw Factory. Among them, there are more than ten companies with a sales volume over one hundred million yuan. The product type increased to dozens of types that satisfy market demand from the former single type. Up to the present, Ningbo has become the predominant base of fastener in China.
The professional exhibition of fastener and spring gathered 80% of screw equipments, finished products and screw related equipments, spring fabricating equipments, raw materials and everything one expects to find of mainland China and Taiwan.
Our latest issue ChinaFastener Spring Issue at booth A42 and A44 attracted a lot of attention from visitors from different countries of Asia and Europe, they were in fastener, automobile and ship industries. They were also very happy to see such a professional fastener magazine for global buyers.
In the fair, we also communicated with many fastener manufacturers and buyers, we discussed about the present fastener market, also EU’s antidumping against China, etc. We got so much voice from people in this industry.
