It is reported that the U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) has confirmed the duties for electrical steel import from China, South Korea and Russia Federation, and China is the mostly-affected exporter for the items.

China’s exporters including Baoshan Iron & Steel Co. Ltd were confirmed in unfair government subsidies and sold grain-oriented electrical steel with too cheap prices, and finally were set a 127.69% anti-subsidy duty as well as a 159.21% anti-dumping duty.

The grain-oriented imports from Russia and South Korea are also set anti-dumping duties as 3.68% and 68.98% respectively, but no anti-subsidy duty to be imposed.

And after backing a ruling from the U.S. International Trade Commission by November 10th, the decision will be finally made.
