It was reported that CRRC Corporation Limited officially initiated the construction of production base in Springfield City of Massachusetts, USA, which was considered as the beginning of technology export from China to USA and the localization of manufacturing of railway equipments in USA.

The output mode of China’s railway equipment industry to the global top market is shifting from the single export of “products” to the comprehensive mode of “products + technology + capital + management + service”. It is predicted that the investment to the manufacturing plant in Springfield will reach to 60 million USD, taking 40 acres with 150 job opportunities. The first batch of railway products provided by this plant will be the Red Line and Orange Line of MBTASubway.
