According to the information exposed from Fire Corp. of Zhejiang Province, the first national center of 3D-Printing for fire-fighting equipment manufacturing has been established in the Equipment Maintenance Center of Zhejiang Fire Corp, for the sake of turning the tables of importing the auto parts for fire trucks when confronting with the dilemma of long procurement period length and high auto parts cost.

A recent achievement made in this center was the successful manufacturing of front fog lamp frame, which strengthened the confidence of manufacturing other auto parts that would be applied in the fire trucks. With the advantages of flexible manufacturing, easy assembly and rapid prototyping, the 3D-Printing would assist the forming of better manufacturing process and perfect accessories design.
