M-Tech Osaka came to a successful end on Oct. 6, lasting for 3 days. The exhibition was held at INTEX Osaka, concurrently with DMS OSAKA and 2nd Factory Facility and Equipment Expo OSAKA.
The exhibition is Western Japan's largest exhibition gathering all kinds of mechanical parts such as bearings, fasteners, mechanical springs and metal and plastic processing technology.
Being the media partner of the exhibition, reporter of Chinafastener.com came to the exhibition with 22nd issue of ChinaFastener Magazine.
Based on official data, there were 780 exhibitors at the expo, including about 16 Chinese companies, such as Zhejiang Ansheng, Beijing Jinzhaobo, Haiyan Jinniu, Ningbo Jinding, Ningbo Qunli, Zhongshan Qiangxin, Ningbo Xingyi, etc.

During the expo, numerous visitors were attracted to the show, most of which were local purchasers and few were Southeastern Asians. Many Chinese fastener companies said that they got many potential orders at the show and they were satisfied about the exhibition.
Mr. Fujiwara, organizer of the exhibition, said, "We have put much energy in Chinese market but there are still few Chinese companies taking part in the exhibition (less than 20). We think that maybe it's because Chinese companies are not confident about their products. What's more, we have made some agreements with local governments of Dalian, Jiangsu and other areas to provide subsidy to Chinese exhibitors." He also said that Japanese purchasers were getting satisfied with Chinese fastener products and they were willing to purchase fasteners from China."
Based on data from Japan Customs Ministry, Japan has imported near 220,000 metric tons fasteners from China in 2016, occupied 69.44% of Japanese imported fasteners in 2016. Based on the data, we think that Chinese companies have taken a great proportion of Japanese imported fastenrs.
The anual show will be held on Oct.3 - 5 next year.
The 22nd issue of ChinaFastener Magazine will be shown at National Industrial Fastener & Mill Supply Expo (Booth No. 1278). Welcome to stop by and take one.
