2011 Fastener Expo Jiaxing China, an export-oriented exhibition, was successfully held during 14 to 15 October 2011 in Jiaxing International Exhibition Center, Jiaxing, China. It is jointly organized by Zhejiang Industrial Fastener Institute, Bureau of Foreign Economic Trade of Jiaxing and Jiaxing Fastener Import and Export Enterprises Association, which received highly praise from all walks of life with six highlights --- great support from local government, geographical advantage, targeting oversea market, highly gathering of name-brand fastener companies, and preliminary international level with 227 oversea professional visitors. 

First highlight: great support from local government
2011 Fastener Expo Jiaxing China got thorough support from local government. It was sponsored by CCCME (China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products), Commerce Department of Zhejiang and the Jiaxing people’s government, organized by Zhejiang Industrial Fastener Institute, Bureau of Foreign Economic Trade of Jiaxing and Jiaxing Fastener Import and Export Enterprises Association, and executed by Shanghai Ebseek Exhibition Co. Ltd. It was the highly attention from local government that played a key role in promoting the transformation and upgrade of Jiaxing fastener industry and building the fastener industrial base of China. 

Second highlight: geographical advantage
The fastener industry was prosperous in Jiaxing with around 4,000 fastener-related enterprises. According to customs statistics, Jiaxing’s fastener export was USD $ 781.66 million in 2010, taking up 48.8% of the total fastener export value in Zhejiang province and accounting for 20% in China. In addition, Zhejiang Industrial Fastener Institute, Jiaxing Fastener Import and Export Enterprises Association, Haiyan Fastener Industry Association, Jiashan Fastener Industry Association and Quality Supervision and Inspection Center of National Standard Parts highly located in Jiaxing city, which became one unique feature of fastener industry in China. The holding of 2011 Fastener Expo Jiaxing China in Jiaxing would be helpful in facilitating fastener purchase, deepening cooperation and boosting trade intercourse.

Third highlight: targeting oversea market
China has become the largest exporter of fasteners in recent years. According to customs statistics China’s fastener export was USD $ 2.202 billion in the first half of 2011. Besides, China won a victory on the fastener trading dispute between EU and China on July 15th, 2011, which cleared export barrier to some extent and strengthened Chinese fastener enterprises’ confidence in stepping again into European market. It was under such a backdrop that 2011 Fastener Expo Jiaxing China generated, targeting oversea market and opening up a green channel for fastener export.

Fourth highlight: highly gathering of name-brand fastener companies
2011 Fastener Expo Jiaxing China showcased comprehensive products of standard fasteners, hardware connecting parts and stamping parts, fastener manufacturing equipments, fastener materials, moulds and consumption goods as well as fastener technologies and services in 209 standard booths; most of the exhibitors were name-brand companies like the unique public company of Class A shares in Chinese fastener industry --- Gem-Year Industrial Co., Ltd, the largest stainless steel fastener company in global --- Tong Ming Enterprise Co., Ltd, the largest manufacturers of thread rods in China --- Jiaxing Brothers Fastener Co., Ltd & Jiaxing Xinyue Standard Parts Co., Ltd, the largest manufacturers of nuts in China --- Zhejing Zhapu Industrial Co., Ltd & Haiyan Yuxing Nuts Co., Ltd, Zhejiang New Oriental Fastener Co., Ltd, Haiyan Chnstar Industrial Furnace Co., Ltd, Haiyan Fujian Fastener Co., Ltd, Jiashan Zhongsheng Metal Products Co., Ltd, Dongtai QB Stainless Steel Co., Ltd, Kunshan Dongluo Hardware Product Co., Ltd etc. They displayed their latest products and advanced technologies to grasp any chance of receiving orders over the two-day long exhibition.

Fifth highlight: preliminary international level with 227 oversea professional visitors
2011 Fastener Expo Jiaxing China attracted 4853 domestic visitors and 227 oversea professionals from 32 countries including USA, UK, Japan, South Korea, South Africa, Russia, Austria, Canada, Brazil, Belgium, France, German, Czech, Denmark, Finland, India, Italy, Luxemburg, Malaysia, Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Ukraine, Vietnam, Hong kong, Taiwan etc. It was of international level preliminarily.

2011 Fastener Expo Jiaxing China has become a history while its sister exhibition 2012 Fastener Expo Shanghai is going to be held on 6th to 8th June 2012 in Shanghai Everbright Center, Shanghai, China. The goal of Fastener Expo Jiaxing and Fastener Expo Shanghai is the same and that’s to build the largest professional fastener exhibition in Asia, which would be as famous and influential as Fastener Fair Stuttgart in Europe or National Industrial Fastener & Mill Supply Expo in United State in future.
