Taiwan’s fastener exported to United States was 305,200 tons for Jan. to Jul, 2011, seeing a slight increase of 5% on a year-on-year basis (2010 Jan to Jul: 289,700 tons).

Though fasteners’ export volume to United States increased slightly, the market share of United States was in shrink. United States possessed 40% market share in Jan. to Jul., 2010 while it decreased to 36% in the same period of this year.

However, a market insider said Taiwan’s fastener export has got obviously increased in the first seven months of this year and exported to United States was also in a slight rising pace, which maybe indicated that Taiwan performed better in scattering fasteners’ export market.
