The 24th National Fastener Economy, Trade & Technology Symposium was held successfully on 21st to 23rd Nov., 2011 in Hefei city, Anhui Province, China. The symposium has been held for years, receiving great support and popularity from fastener industry insiders and outsiders. There were over 500 personnels from government department, fastener industrial associations, fastener enterprises, to industrial media participating in this year’s symposium.

The symposium could be divided into four parts, special reports, enterprise communication, product show, and trade negotiation.

Mr. Feng, president of China Fastener Industry Association, reported the situation of China fastener industry. He made a complete analysis on the market operation of Chinese fasteners. In the report, he emphasized China fastener industry would meet more challenges in the second half of 2011 and enterprises shall make enough preparation to deal with. He also put forward that China fastener industry shall base on important industries to accelerate the optimization and upgrade of fasteners in 2012 and boost fastener industry developed in health and stable pace. He predicted the total output of Chinese fasteners would reach 6.8 million tons in 2012.

Enterprise communication proceeded as schedule after special report. Mr. George King, manager of Hyodong Machine Co., Ltd, Ms. Yang, general manager of Jie His International Company Ltd, Mr. Xie, deputy general manager of Ningbo Sijin Machinery Co., Ltd was invited to make speeches and share information. The on-site representatives expressed that it was beneficial to attend such symposium, listen reports and communicate with industrial experts.
