Several car plants could be built in Russia in the coming years. For example, Fiat-Chrysler plans to invest 32 billion rubles to build a plant in St. Petersburg. It is assumed that the new plant will be able to produce up to 120 thousand cars per year.

Its rival Volkswagen is considering building of car plant in the Vladimir area.

"If these projects will be implemented the automotive fasteners demand could increase in Russia", Leonid Khazanov, the observer of Metal Supply and Sale Magazine, said.
