It was learned that the exhibitors of Indian Pavilion was organized by EEPC INDIA to help Indian manufacturers to open oversea market. In 2011, Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) was signed between Japan and India, which strengthened their cooperation and trading. In addition, this year was the 60th years’ anniversary since diplomatic relationship between Japan and India established, hence, the Indian manufacturers would like to take this opportunity to further explore Japanese market. According to the statistics of Indian Commerce Department, the fasteners exported by India reached US $ 251.14 billion in 2010-2011, seeing a sharp increase of 40.49% year-on-year.

In terms of fastener sector, there were about 100 exhibitors and most of them were Japanese companies, followed by the companies from mainland China (13 exhibitors), South Korea (13 exhibitors), and Taiwan (7 exhibitors). The Chinese exhibitors included Shanghai Jingyang, Zhejiang New Oriental, Haiyan Yuxing, Ningbo Jinding, Ningbo Xinxing, Ningbo Qunli, Haiyan Huasheng, Ningbo Jintai, etc.

Every aisle in the exhibition was crowded. Most of the visitors were Japanese, which post a difficulty to the communication with oversea exhibitors especially the Indian exhibitors. Some of them told that they would prepare an interpreter in next M-Tech.

ChinaFastener.com, being the supportive media of M-Tech, again participated in the exhibition with the 11th ChinaFastener Magazine (CFM). Many visitors came to the booth of CFM for recommending excellent fastener suppliers and subscribe next issue. The next issue of CFM will come out by the end of August; all purchasers, importers, distributors, wholesalers, and retailers are welcomed to subscribe.
