According relative statistics, China’s fastener output reached 2,679,669.29 tons in the first half of 2012. Zhejiang province contributed the most to the totals’ with its output of 923,248.59 tons, followed up by Hebei province (444,557.95 tons), Sichuan province (241,506 tons), Jiangsu province (237,804.98 tons), Shangdong province (176,415.29 tons), Shanghai city (141,491.54 tons) and Anhui province (110,245 tons).

Jiaxing, Ningbo and Wenzhou are the three largest fastener manufacturing bases in China; all of them are located in Zhejiang province. Jiaxing, the fastener city in China, is going to hold Fastener Expo Jiaxing on 20 – 22 October, 2012 at Jiaxing International Convention & Exhibition Center, Jiaxing, China. Some industrial insiders expressed that such fastener exhibition will further boost the prosperity of Jiaxing fastener industry.
