Reportedly, petitioned by NTS, a steel maker in Thailand, the Thai authority has started an antidumping probe into high-carbon steel wires (diameter less than 14mm) from China under HS Codes 7213.9190.021, 7213.9190.022, 7213.9190.030, 7213.9190.031, 7213.9190.090, 7227.9000.014, 7227.9000.090.

NTS claims that the wire imports from China are at a 15.98% dumping margin.

Additionally, Thai steel mills, once complaining about China export refund at 14% for high-carbon 82B wires with 0.3% chrome, will also file an antidumping lawsuit in future against China low-carbon SAE1008 wires with 0.0008% boron.
