Russia initiates AD investigation against Ukrainian imported wire rod

It’s reported that Severstal, the largest steel company in Russia according to the Metal Bulletin with major industrial facilities in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, France, Italy and the United States, as well as in several African countries, has filed petition of anti-dumping investigation along with other Russian manufacturers against the wire rods manufactured in Ukraine and imported to the single customs territory of the Customs Union.

Ukrainian wire rod mills have exported 800,000 tons of wire rod in 2012 and in the first half of 2013, the exports has advanced 63% more than during the same period last year in 2013 to be around 700,000 tons of wire rods imported into the Customs Union .
