Sundram Fasteners standalone quarterly earnings rise 27.06%

Sundram Fasteners said a good increase in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2013. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 27.06% to Rs 286.40 million from Rs 225.40 million in the same quarter previous year.
Net sales for the quarter declined marginally 4.09% to Rs 4,764.50 million, compared with Rs 4,967.50 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 1.36, registering 27.10% growth over previous year period.
