Chinese steel export volumes continued to increase, according to MEPS.

Until today, the country’s exports have increased over 1.5 million tons. From January to August, Chinese exports to North America went up more than double compared to the same period of time in the previous year. The increasing items are focused on the flat products forms – especially cold rolled and metal coated coil.

China’s steel shipments to the EU also have been expanding in recent months. It is mainly flat products but also wire rod and merchant bars.
