Brazil's Ministry of Foreign Trade announced to put a definitive anti-dumping (AD) duty on imports of seamless steel tubes from China.

After finding a dumping margin of 59.9%, it put a duty of US$908.59/ton on the products, for five years.

Meanwhile, the HS codes of the products involved in this case are 7304.51.19, 7304.59.11 and 7304.59.19.

The duty will apply to chrome alloy seamless tubes with external diameters of 3 mm~14.13 mm, independent of wall thickness and internal diameter.

It’s known that Brazil sole seamless tube producer Vallourec requested the government to investigate in November, 2013.
