According to statistics released by Russia’s special steel association Spetsstal, the country’s output of finished stainless steel products totaled 71,600 tons in January-September, falling by 22.6% year on year.

In the given period of time, the country’s production of hot rolled flats dropped by 35.8%; that of cold rolled flats fell by 58.6%.
