SOLO Swiss Group recently delivered a new automatic heat treatment line for fasteners to one of the companies in the ARaymond Network, based in Grenoble, France.
The new furnace has a seven tonne per day capacity and is the eighth furnace the company has supplied to ARaymond Group facilities in France and Germany.
The new line includes an automatic box charger connected with the parts storage racks. The 200kW conveyor belt furnace is dedicated to austenitisation and is equipped with two turbo-convectors and a potential carbon regulation system. It includes a liquid salt quench tank with carrousel and four cylindrical, 250 litre capacity baskets.
The new heat treatment line also includes a high temperature centrifugation wash system through dumping in two quench tanks linked to an evaporator with salt recycling and hot air centrifugation for drying. A robot controls palletisation automatically. The whole line is managed through the AXRON Swiss Process Control System.
SOLO Swiss has manufactured atmosphere furnaces for metal heat treatment since 1945 and sells them worldwide.
