Stanley Black & Decker, one of the world's largest tool and storage companies, is opening a new manufacturing facility in York County. The new operations are projected to bring $31 million in capital investment and lead to the creation of 500 new jobs.

Stanley Black & Decker will be occupying a new 345,000-square-foot facility for the manufacture and assembly of DEWALT cordless power tools. The new facility will be located in the Lakemont Business Park in Fort Mill.
