International Hardware Fair Cologne officially opened on 28 February local time in Germany at Colonge, Germany. The event is held yearly on February or March, seperated by biennial fair and single-year fair.
Altough the opening day of 28 February in gregorian calendar coincides with the traditional Chinese Lantern Festival，it does not affect the enthusiasm of Chinese exhibitors went to the Cologne Fair. They went to the exhibition hall at eight o'clock to make preperation to meet the visitors. It is a golden opportunity for most of Chinese hardware enterprises to open up the European market and develop European customers.
According to official statistics, there are six exhibition halls, more than 880 Chinese hardware companies and about 400 companies from Taiwan. Fastener exhibitors are mainly located at hall 2 , 3 and 5. Most of Chineses fasteners enterprises are located at hall 2.1, other small parts are located at hall 2.2 and hall 3.1. Taiwan fastener enterprises are mainly located at hall 2.2, while parts of them are also located at hall 3.2. All the European fastener and accessory enterprises are located at hall 5.2.
ChinaFastener Magazine goes to Europe once again, starts the first event of the International Exhibition in 2010. The opening day of International Hardware Fair Cologne is Sunday, a few people visited the exhibiton, but they showed high interest in the 《ChinaFastener Manazine》and asked for the ticket of 2010 Fastener Expo Shanghai. It is expected that visitor flow will reach the peak on the second day.
