It is reported that accumulative volume of steel export in Tangshan from January to August was 167 million tonnes valued at USD 1 billion which was up by 4.8 and 4.4 times YoY respectively.

However the steel export volume in August fell to 7.4 million tonnes by 51.5% MoM.

The great decline was attributed to the production limit in accord with emission reduction as well as tax rebate cancellation starting from July.
