“There has been a lot of interest and new contracts recently. We are also seeing positive effects from the addition of mill supplies to the Expo. We are expecting about 100 booths by show time”, says General Manager Hurley.
 
The Fastener Training Institute is presenting an all day seminar on “Understanding the Bolted Joint” on Tuesday, April 26.
 
“We are also very pleased to announce the addition of the Metric Fastener Corporation (MFC) Columbus Warehouse Tour from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26. Susan Hurley and I visited this new, 60,000 sq. ft., state-of-the-art facility recently and are very impressed. MFC offers a selection of over 50,000 metric fasteners and 10,000 carbon and stainless steel metric fasteners are immediately available from this facility”, says Jim Bannister, the Expo’s General Partner. The tour is free to the first 50 fastener distributors who sign up and includes complimentary roundtrip bus transportation from the Greater Columbus Convention Center, warehouse tour and refreshments hosted by MFC. 
 
The Expo’s Welcome Reception is scheduled for 5:30 – 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 26 in the Greater Columbus Convention Center. This always popular and well attended event will offer complimentary drinks and hors d’ oeuvres to all registered Expo exhibitors and visitors wearing their badge.
 
The one day Expo will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 27.
