On September 23rd, 2011, Canada made a final ruling with respect to the mid-term anti-dumping review on China’s carbon steel and stainless steel fasteners which confirmed the normal value of six Chinese enterprises; they were Gem-Year Industrial Co., Ltd, JC Grand (China) Corporation, Jiaxing Fengjian Hardware Products Co., Ltd, Qingdao Top Steel Ind. Co., Ltd, Robertson (Jiaxing) Inc., and Tapoo Metal Products (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. Other Chinese enterprises’ normal value would be confirmed by export price which increased by 170%.
On April 28th, 2011, Canada Border Service Agency released a notice on launching mid-term anti-dumping review on carbon-steel and stainless-steel fasteners originating from mainland China and Taiwan. The investigation was mainly to reconfirm the normal values and export prices of involved commodities.
On April 28th, 2004, Canada Border Service Agency launched an anti-dumping and anti-subsidy investigation on carbon-steel and stainless-steel fasteners originating from mainland China and Taiwan; the involved commodities were under HS codes of 73181100, 73181200, 73181400, 73181500 and 73181600.
On December 9th, 2004, Canada Border Service Agency made a final ruling which confirmed the dumping margins of involved mainland-China enterprises ranged from 3.46% to 170%.
