The 14th Mechanical Components & Materials Technology Expo Osaka (M-Tech Osaka), the largest exhibition in western Japan, organized by Reed Exhibition Japan, was grandly opened on Oct. 5, 2011 in Intex Osaka, Osaka, Japan. It was the sister exhibition of M-tech Tokyo held every year in October.

The 14th M-tech showcased a comprehensive product of bearings, fasteners, mechanical springs, metal and plastic processing technology over three days, attracting visitors from every part of Osaka. The visitors could be found everywhere in venue, nearly block every aisle.

The 14th M-tech Osaka attracted nearly 663 exhibitors; most of them were from Japan. There were about 40 exhibitors displaying fasteners and related products, of which, three exhibitors came from mainland China. They were Ningbo Jintai, Haiyan Yuxing, and Ningbo Xinxing respectively.

Being a professional media in mainland China, ChinaFastener.com (Booth No. D3-15) witnessed the whole exhibition. On one hand, ChinaFastener.com brought the 10th edition ChinaFastener Magazine and recommended excellent suppliers to international buyers; on the other hand, ChinaFastener.com communicated with local exhibitors and visitors in deep to learn how the situation of fastener industry in Japan was.

It was learned that many supply chains had been cut and electric power was in shortage since the happening of earthquake and tsunami, which forced some enterprises had to transfer their production to oversea and hence maybe accelerated the purchasing speed of fasteners from China.

It was also learned that more and more Japanese purchasers were going to consider or to strengthen the fastener import from China due to Chinese fasteners were approved and accepted internationally. They came to the booth of ChinaFastener.com and consulted the situation of Chinese fastener industry. With acquiring the Buyer’s Guide of ChinaFastener Magazine which included the information of nearly 500 competitive Chinese suppliers, fasteners purchasing from China could be greatly facilitated.
