On Sept. 23, 2011, South Africa launched anti-dumping (AD) investigation on China-made stainless-steel and steel threaded rods covered by HS Codes 7318.15.41 and 7318.15.35, at the request of the South African Fasteners Manufacturers Association.

The dumping investigation lasted from January 1 to December 31 of 2010 and the injury investigation lasted from January 1, 2008 to December 31, 2010.
