On July 23, Tengda Technology disclosed the latest development in its global strategy: the company plans to invest 167 million yuan to build a production base with an annual capacity of 18,000 tons of stainless steel fasteners in the Long Jiang Industrial Park in Vietnam. The project has now successfully obtained ODI filing approval from the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), and subsequent construction work is progressing steadily.
The project is reported to focus on American-standard stainless steel fasteners in M4–M24 specifications, aiming to leverage Vietnam’s local tax incentives and regional trade agreement dividends to effectively optimize the production cost structure, thereby enhancing the company’s profitability and risk resilience. As a core move in Tengda Technology’s internationalization strategy, the completion of this base will enable the company to target diversified global markets—particularly the Americas—with more competitive cost advantages, further increasing its market share in the global stainless steel fastener supply chain.
Public information shows that Tengda Technology is one of the major manufacturers in the global stainless steel fastener industry, with products widely applied in sectors such as petrochemicals, machinery equipment, new energy, and offshore equipment. The Vietnam project marks the company’s first overseas manufacturing base following steady expansion of domestic production capacity, signifying a substantial leap in its internationalization strategy from product exports to production capacity going global. This move holds profound strategic significance for strengthening supply chain resilience and global market competitiveness.
