Currently, just for the sole purpose of profiting, some companies don't hesitate to violate the social merits and virtues, which can be seen in the facts that they make huge donations to charity while deducting salaries of migrant workers. Is this can be called "social responsibility"? In addition, some companies never evade taxes, but the conducts of wasting resources, polluting environment and pouring wastes all over are prevalent there, which can not be seen as the fulfillment of social responsibilities.
According to some insiders, the core social responsibilities for fasteners companies are: obeying the laws, protecting the environment, customers and beneficiaries, carrying out labor regulations, respecting human rights, promoting work safety and enforcing anti-corruption. In recent years, the output of domestic fastener industry has been keeping the annual growth rate of over 15%, which means the output volume is estimated to reach 6 million tons and exporting volume to reach 2.5 million tons. However, because of lacking enough sense of brand
establishment and being short of differences among products, a big maker share and huge profit of domestic fastener industry has been lost to foreign companies. Therefore, we must realize the fact that being OEM partners with foreign companies will not guarantee us the core technologies, and not reward us a name in the fastener, neither!
As far as a company is concerned, if we are not willing to be OEM forever, if we want to establish our own brand, the first thing we must have is thoughtfulness, which, for a company, is the strategy of brand. Second, we must have strong resolution to overcome any difficult to carry out the named brand strategy unremittingly.
