Elgin Fastener Group has announced the recent appointment of Michael A. Wilson to the position of Chief Operating Officer. Wilson brings more than 20 years of experience in various aspects of manufacturing and management to EFG. He retired from the United States Army National Guard with the rank of Sergeant First Class/Intel NCO in 2005, after 21 years of service. Wilson holds a B.S./Mechanical Engineering Technology (Design) degree and M.B.A./Finance-General Management degree from the University of Cincinnati, as well as membership in the American Society for Quality with Certified Manager of Quality status.

EFG Chief Executive Officer Jeff Liter said, “We welcome Mike Wilson to the Elgin Fastener Group, and eagerly anticipate his contributions to our manufacturing and engineering efforts. His knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodology will be extremely beneficial to us as we continue to implement these programs in our various manufacturing operations.”
