According to rough statistics, there are about 40,000 varieties and millions of specifications of fasteners in the world, which are mainly used in the industries of automobile, machinery manufacturing, electronics, construction and maintenance and so on. Among of that, automobile industry is the biggest consumer of fasteners, whose demand accounts for 23.2% of the total output of fasteners, followed up by construction and maintenance industry and electronics industry, accounting for 20% and 16.6% respectively.

Some industrial insiders believe that benefiting from the rapid development of the industries of automobiles, wind power, construction, manufacturing, high-end equipment, and new energy, the demand for China's fastener will continue in a rapid growth phase.

It is estimated that China’s fastener output will reach 7.2 to 7.5 million tons in 2013 and market scale of China fastener industry will be close to 200 billion Yuan by 2015.
