An opening ceremony was held by EJOT Fastening Systems (Taicang) Co., Ltd on Apr. 18th, 2013 in Taicang Economic Development Zone, Taicang, Jiangsu Province, China. About 300 guests from across China attended and witnessed this important moment of EJOT.

Mr. Andy Ho, general manager of EJOT showed sincere welcome and made an address, “Thank you very much for your arrival. It is our honor that we can celebrate the opening of EJOT factory together. I still remember that we announced to establish the first sales office in 2005, which was our first step to enter Asia; in 2009, we began to conduct trial production in operation venue and the big warehouse turned into 800 square meters’ production workshop. With the expansion of our production, the original production capacity could not meet demand. Mr. Kocherscheidt, the owner of EJOT, came to visit Taicang in Sep. 2011 and announced to purchase an area of 12,000 square meters in Taicang Economic Development Zone in the same year of Dec., starting the first phase investment in Asia. In the past eight years, EJOT achieved great success. I want to express our appreciation to all of you as well as the guest who cannot present in our opening ceremony. ”

According to the introduction of Mr. Andy Ho, the first phase investment of EJOT would establish a management building with two floors height, a complete production area for heading and threading technique, a production line of heat treatment with 800 square meters, a logistics area of 2,000 square meters, and an injection area of 800 square meters. These facilities would further expand EJOT’s product range and provide more options for the current and potential Asian customers. It was estimated that the second phase factory would reach 30,000 square meters.

EJOT is a middle-sized German enterprise, integrating the production and sales of high-end fasteners. Its predecessor was Adolf Böhl GmbH & Co.KG, a manufacturer of screws and nails in Westphalia. Now it develops into a group of 2, 100 employees, with about 1,400 employees working in Germany and the other 700 employees working in the oversea offices in Europe, America and Asia.
