2013 National Manufacturing Week (NMW) was held on May 7 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, Melbourne, Australia. It would last for 4 days from May 7th to May 10th.

NMW 2013 offers a unique opportunity for Australian Manufacturers to showcase their innovative and internationally leading products. With two new product zones Sustainable Manufacturing and Metals & Composites, NMW 2013 features a total of 12 dedicated sections, creating the ideal environment for buyers and sellers to interact.

ChinaFastener.com learned that there were 13 enterprises from mainland China and one enterprise from Taiwan exhibiting in the product zones of Metals & Composites. They were Jingjiang Hengfeng Rivet, Shanghai Rivet, Ningbo QUNLI, YuYao Fastener, Zhejiang Haiyan Xinglong, Jiangsu AWD, Haiyan New Shengda, Suzhou Jinyuan, NingBo XinXing, Profastener Hardware, Ningbo Jinding, Zhejiang Juyue Standard part and so on. 

ChinaFastener.com, being the unique fastener media from mainland China, communicated with local buyers and learned the fastener situation in Australia. Generally speaking, Australian fastener end-users would not purchase directly from oversea for their limited order quantity and expensive cost. And local distributors take a dominant position in fastener industry. 

Next year’s NMW will be held in Sydney on May 13th to 16th, 2014. It is held yearly in Melbourne and Sydney in turn.
