2013 Fastener Expo Shanghai was successfully held on 20 – 22 June 2013 at Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention center, Shanghai, China. ChinaFastener.com, the official appointed media of Fastener Expo Shanghai, interviewed Mr. Yari Wiesenfeld (second generation leader of Videx) and Miss Omer Wiesenfeld (third generation of Videx). 

Mr. Yari Wiesenfeld told, “Videx was found in 1973. After years of operation and management, Videx become mature. Currently, Chinese economy grows by leaps and bounds, which is a good chance for Videx. We bring two sets production equipments in Fastener Expo Shanghai, one is for U bolts and the other is for thread rolling. U bolts could be formed at one time and the efficiency of thread rolling machine is two to three times of general equipments”.

While commenting on Fastener Expo Shanghai, Mr. Yari Wiesenfeld expressed, “2013 Fastener Expo Shanghai is impressive. There are many customers stop in front of our equipments. They are very interested in our machines. The show is really great. It is no doubt that we will exhibit in next year.”

Miss Omer Wiesenfeld also commented that I found many Chinese new technologies in the show. And there were many exhibitors and purchasers.

Videx Machine Engineering was founded in 1973 as a two man company by David Wiesenfeld, who was until that time a plant engineer of a company producing bolts. The first machines Videx made were semi-automatic, magazine feed thread rollers, that were sold in the local market.
