The Yongnian 2007 Expo. of Fastener, Spring-loaded and Equipments opens at Yongnian County, Handan City. The Expo. is jointly held by Yongnian County Government and the Chamber of Hardware and Electromechanical (CHEC) Commerce of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce. Yang Hui (Deputy Secretary of Handan city), Dong Qiang (Chairman of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Handan city ), Yao Haiguang(Deputy Secretary-General of China General Machine Components Industry Association), Zhao Fangqi (Vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of CHEC of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce), Lin Zhiming (Vice-president of Hong Kong Screw & Fastener Council) attend the opening ceremony.
The expo. will last for 3 days. The exhibition space is about 10,000 sqm. with more than 500 stands. It has attracted more than 10, 000 visitors, including international purchasers from Germany, Italy and Australia. The Expo. full presents fasteners, springs and equipments for manufacturing operation. With the aim of promoting the all-around fastener development, fastener experts from CHEC of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce will hold an all-directional face-to-face dialogue with the elite from fastener research, production and trade during the expo. to discuss the difficulties and hot issues on the development of fastener and its contradiction to the economic trend. The expo. will strengthen the exchanges and cooperation between enterprises home and abroad and will certainly drive forward the equipment upgrade.
It is reported that China's production of fastener ranks first in the world. Yongnian is the largest concentrated base of screws in China with a history of 30 years. At present, the county has three big professional hardware markets, that is Standard Fastener Distribution Store, New Standard Fastener Distribution Store and Hardware and Fastener Store, with 2000 distributors, more than 100 varieties, 3000 specifications. The yearly output of fastener and hardware at Yongnian can reach 1,800,000 tons with a value of 9 billion RMB.
