Suzhou Xinkai released in recent that its sales increased by 8% year-on-year to 180 million Yuan in 2012. “Both the domestic sales and export achieved certain growth, but the growth didn’t meet our expectation. To some extent, our export was greatly affected by EU’s antidumping measures”, said Mr. Chen, general manager of Suzhou Xinkai Precision Fasteners Co., Ltd.

Suzhou Xinkai attaches equal importance to domestic sale and export. Its major export destinations are India, Singapore, Philippines, Thailand, America and Europe. Asia is its largest export destination, taking up 50% of export share, followed by Europe and America, taking up 35% and 15% respectively. “We have been devoting to explore oversea market. We attend in worldwide fastener exhibitions every year and make market publicity on many home and abroad websites, trying to receive more inquiries and explore wider oversea markets”, said Mr. Chen.

Suzhou Xinkai was established in 2003. It set up new plants and started to export fasteners in 2008. Then it built the second phase of plants in 2011. Now its factories cover an area of 20,000 square meters with 21 sets cold heading machines, 14 sets multistage cold formers, 104 sets automatic lathes, 16 sets CNC numerically controlled lathes, and one set National Machine. All of these machines were imported from Germany, America, Japan and Taiwan. Suzhou Xinkai can produce 90 million pieces cold heading parts and 40 million pieces lathed parts monthly. It can process various kinds of materials, covering the diameters from 1mm to 120mm and the highest precision can reach 5μm.

Suzhou Xinkai is specialized in producing rivet fasteners, pressing fasteners, automotive fasteners and non-standard parts. Every production process was strictly controlled to guarantee product quality. In 2004, it got ISO 9001 Quality Management System Certification; in 2009, it got ISO 14001 Environment System Certification and ISO/TS 16949 Automobile Quality Management System Certification. “These certifications enhance our management level, stabilize our product quality and expand our market share”, said Mr. Chen. 

Worth to mention, Suzhou Xinkai owns a professional fastener inspection laboratory, which is equipped with X-RAY electroplating film thickness gauge, salt spraying tester, 3D projector, press machine, rockwell hardness machine, micro hardness machine, various kinds of precision optical projector, surface roughometer, torque tester, contourgraph and so on. No matter testing raw materials or finished products, every process conforms to the standard requirements of international laboratory to guarantee product quality. 

“At present, the demand for high-end fasteners exceeds supply in domestic and China still relies on import. Our future development plan is to be a big and strong manufacturer of high-end fasteners as well as strengthen market share of this kind product, trying to build an internationalized brand for Xinkai high-end fasteners”, Mr. Chen expressed while talking about future development plan.
