GEM-YEAR Industrial Co., Ltd announced in recent that it won the bid of railway fasteners worth RMB 209 million. It is one of the fastener manufactories in the world.

According to its annual report, GEM-YEAR Industrial realized the revenue of RMB 2.596 billion in 2012, down 3.96% year-on-year, and the net profit lost RMB 11.8 million. Railway fasteners were its main revenue source, taking a share of 21.08% in its business. However, the revenue of railway fasteners decreased by 19.35% year-on-year for the slow recovery of Chinese high speed railway construction.
