GAC FIAT Recall BRAVO for Insufficient Tightening Torque of Bolts

GAC FIAT recently announced a recall for imported BRAVO which was produced during Sep. 1st, 2010 to Oct. 31st, 2011. The involved model was Fiat Bravo 198-59H(MT)and 198-54E(MTA).

It was learned that the tightening torque of connecting bolts was insufficient in the steering gear box of steering shaft in the above vehicles, which could make abnormal noise, deviate from straightaways, and even postpone diversion and hence pose a potential risk. GAC FIAT will replace with new counter shaft of steering pillar and bolts at no cost to ensure tightening torque within standard scope.
