According to the latest quarterly report from the Australian Resources and Energy Economics (BREE), LME nickel average price is expected to be at US$17,599/ton.

In June, BREE’s estimate of nickel price was at US$17,644/ton.

During the first 9 months of this year, nickel prices rose sharply due to the ore export ban from Indonesia.

BREE said that the rest of this year nickel price trend has slowed down because the output increased in Philippines, inventories continued to raise and China’s demand slow down.
