According to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), China’s crude steel output totaled 67.52 million tons in October, dropping by 0.3% year on year.
The country’s daily crude steel production averaged at 2.17 million tons, down by 3.25% from a month ago.
In the first ten months of this year, China produced 685.35 million tons of crude steel, rising by 2.1% year on year.
Meanwhile, China’s pig iron output totaled 599.52 million tons during January to October. The country’s steel output totaled 934.47 million tons, up by 2% year on year.
