According to the Notification of AQSIQ (Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine), the company DPCA has filed its call-back plan on records in the bureau. Since May 4th, 2015, totally 19,481 Dongfeng Peugeot Car Class 408, which were produced from Feb 22nd—Nov 20th, 2014 would be called back for repair.

Due to the unqualified fastening bolts for the front bracket of triantebrachia, when it is in extreme conditions, the fastening bolts might fracture, leading to the unstable, vibrating or off-track car running. Safety loophole like these will impact the operation, thus, DPCA company decided to replace new fastening bolts for calling-back Peugeot Class 408 for free, by applying new tightening technology to avoid the safety problems.
