The development of China’s economy and technology allows China to take a place in the technological field of global high-speed railway. Days ago, Chongqing Hi-Lex Group signed a development agreement on Train Brake Cable with China Academy of Railway Science. It was said that efforts will be put in studying the train control system, which project is hopefully putting into mass production by November with an annual production of 50,000. With smoothly promoting of this project, domestication of cables and parts that can be applied in Long-distance Release Devices will be hopefully to be realized, bringing the Liangjiang New Area in Chongqing City to a higher level.
“The Long-distance Release Device will work when one or two train carriages break down and need to be dragged out.” said a director from Hi-Lex Group. He as well mentioned that the high-speed train set involves series of the key technologies, including the brake system, system integration, current transformation, electrical machines, transformers, train body, train bogies, etc. within which the brake system takes the most crucial place. For a long time, China wasn’t able to produce the brake system but importing from other developed countries, for example, Germany. Chongqing Hi-Lex Group will be the first China Enterprise to produce the Cables and Parts.
