Turkey’s wire rod exports drop in Q3

Turkey’s wire rod exports totaled 697,211 tons in the January-September period, falling by 16.73% year on year, according to statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
In the given period of time, the country’s export revenues generated by wire rods totaled US$421.11 million, slumping by 22.46% year on year.
In the third quarter of this year, Turkey’s wire rod exports totaled 183,035 tons, decreasing by 15.98% from a quarter ago and falling by 19.12% year on year.
In September, the country’s wire rod exports were at 60,839 tons, falling by 19.01% year on year while soaring by 26.04% from a month ago.
