Customs Union Commission Introduces Antidumping Duties

The Customs union commission has approved the number of measures on the protection of interests of metal products producers. According to the Interfax agency, the customs union commission has established antidumping duties in respect of some types of metal products. In particular, they have decided to introduce a 22% antidumping duty until May 13th, 2012 in respect of importing mechanical fasteners, such as screws and bolts to the single customs territory from Ukraine, except products from the Druzhkivka Hardware Plant. This enterprise is not subjected to Russian antidumping measures, because it gave price undertaking in respect of mechanical fasteners to the Ministry of Economic Development.
