Stanley Black & Decker (NYSE: SWK), New Britain, CT, has completed the acquisition of Powers Fasteners, Brewster, NY.

Powers will be integrated into the Construction & DIY segment of Stanley Black & Decker as a key brand. Powers will partner with existing Stanley Black & Decker brand DeWalt to provide "a comprehensive tool and anchoring package to the industry," said Jeff Powers, CEO of Powers Fasteners, in a video announcement on DeWalt's website.

Powers' headquarters will remain in Brewster, NY, and continue to operate as normal under existing management throughout the integration.
