Based on the news from Lianhe Zaobao, President of Land Public Transport Commission of Malaysia, Mr. Syed Hamid publically announced the news that the Commission had invited 14 China railway companies including China Railways Corporation to take part in the discussion regarding the construction of Singapore-Malaysia High-speed Railway. At present, the project has entered into the stage of bidding, which indicates the construction would begin in no time.

On Dec. 14, on the site of “China’s High-speed Railway Exhibition & Technology Seminar”, which was organized by the railway companies including China Railways Corporation, Mr. Syed Hamid said that the Commission had cooperated with the Land Transports Authority of Singapore to ask for the advice from marketplace by the means of RFI. Over 200 railway enterprises had responded to it.
