On March 23, it was reported that the Xiangyang Dongfeng Union has started its logistics project of auto parts, which is expected to finish the construction of major structure by the end of this year and will be put into operation in the second half of next year.

Invested by Dongfeng Union, this project takes a total space of 311 Mu, involving a total investment of 1.03 Billion CNY. Two phases of construction will build totally a space of 220 thousand of square meters, including the areas for third-party logistics and storage & delivery. This is expected to unite as the large-scale logistics delivery center, which is mainly used for the storage & delivery of auto parts. The automobile aftermarket and the second-hand auto market take a space of 100 thousand of square meters.

It is supposed that after the accomplishments of this project, it would bring annually a logistics value of 0.7 Billion CNY, declaring annual taxes of 18 Million CNY and providing with 5,000 job opportunities.
