It is known from Jiaxing Customhouse that from January to April, the total import and export value of Jiaxing City is about 61 Billion CNY, 2.3% increased comparing with the same period of last year. The export value is about 46 Billion CNY, with an increasing of 6.3%. The import value is about 15 Billion CNY, with an decreasing of 8.3%. At the same period (January to April), the total import and export value of Zhejiang Province is about 638 Billion CNY, 0.9% decreased comparing with the same period of last year. The export value is about 501 Billion CNY, 0.3% increased comparing with the same period of last year. The import value is about 134 Billion CNY, 5.2% decreased comparing with the same period of last year.

It is only in April that the import and export value of Jiaxing City reaches 17 Billion CNY, 9% increased comparing with the same period of last year. The export value is about 13 Billion CNY, 15.9% increased comparing with the same period of last year. The import value is about 4 Billion CNY, 8.3% decreased comparing with the same period of last year.

The top 10 export commodities all gain increasing in export value except the fasteners. The statistics show that in the early four months of 2016, the export of hi-tech products of Jiaxing City is about 2.7 Billion CNY, 20.8% increased comparing with the same period of last year.
The export value of solar battery of Jiaxing is about 700 Million CNY, 43.8% increased comparing with the same period of last year. At the same period, the export value of mechanical and electrical products of Jiaxing City is about 16 Billion CNY, 3.4% increased comparing with the same period of last year. The export value of lamps and lanterns, lighting equipments and parts is about 1 Billion CNY, 66.4% increased comparing with the same period of last year. Besides that, the export value of sewing threads, textile and its products is about 9 Billion CNY, 7.1% increased comparing with the same period of last year. The export value of clothes and clothing attachments is about 6 Billion CNY, 8.4% increased comparing with the same period of last year. This shows that there is growing in the export value of top 10 export commodities except fasteners.
