Malaysia government has made a preliminary affirmative determination of a case concerning the safeguard measures of the imported Steel Wire Rod and Deformed Bar-In-Coils.

On Sept.23rd, 2016, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia announced that they had made a preliminary affirmative determination of a case concerning the safeguard measures of Steel Wire Rod and Deformed Bar-In-Coils. On May 29th, The Malaysian Iron And Steel Industry Federation (MISIF) reported the case to the Ministry, and the Ministry decided to launch investigations. It’s expected that the final determination will be made within 200 days after Sept. 27th, 2016
